Wicklow Mountains, Ireland

An endlessly
curious person.

I make things. Paintings, stories, songs, comedy shows. I write letters twice a week to an email list, and once a month in a real envelope with a stamp on it.

I believe that curiosity is the engine of hope. And that learning through laughing is the best kind of learning there is.

the long version

I grew up between Ireland's borders, geographically and imaginatively. That in-between quality shapes everything I make. I am drawn to the small things: a windowsill, a bendy road, a gate in a field.

The physical letter is the project I am most excited about. It is an attempt to put something beautiful into the world that doesn't require a screen. A letter you can hold, read slowly, put on a shelf, or better yet, share with others.

01

Curiosity

The engine of everything. If you stop being curious you stop being alive to the world.

02

Hope

Not naive optimism. The kind of hope you earn by looking at hard things without flinching.

03

Laughter

The fastest route to understanding. If you can make someone laugh at a thing, they own it.

04

Making

Paintings, stories, songs, letters. The act of making is the point, not the product.
